Open Sign Send

Privacy Policy

Effective September 26, 2026

Open Sign Send is designed to let you sign PDF documents privately on your device.

Documents and signatures

PDF files, signatures, and stamps are processed on your device. We do not upload or permanently store your documents on our servers. A saved signature may remain on your device so you can reuse it, and you can replace it at any time.

Sharing

When you choose to share a completed document, your device sends it using the app or service you select. That service’s privacy policy applies to the shared file.

Anonymous usage statistics

Open Sign Send records a small number of anonymous events, such as opening the app, choosing a PDF, and completing a signed document. These statistics help us understand active use and improve reliability. A random identifier is stored on your device and converted to a one-way hash before storage. We do not collect file names, document contents, signatures, stamps, names, email addresses, or phone numbers with these events.

Data collection

Open Sign Send does not require an account, does not sell personal information, and does not use advertising trackers. Anonymous usage events are used only to operate and improve the app.

Security

Processing files locally reduces unnecessary transfer of sensitive documents. You remain responsible for protecting access to your device and for choosing trusted services when sharing files.

Changes

This policy may be updated when the app’s features change. The effective date above will show the latest revision.
